Your meeting point for financing, publishers and visibility
Fun & Serious is one of the most important video game industry events in Europe, a unique festival in its class which serves as a meeting point for all agents in the sector. Each year, hundreds of video game professionals attend Bilbao to exhibit their new projects, share their experiences and initiate new contacts and synergies for the future. In 2016 this part of the Festival hosted the Games Industry Forum, a b2b event for professionals only; this year the GIF is set to advance its aim to promote and act as a forum for the video game industry further still.
8, 9, 10 December
What will you find there?
This year, the Festival will place special emphasis on meetings between independent studios and publishers and investors, two of the most difficult areas for young entrepreneurs in the industry. The 2017 Games Industry Forum will bring together independent developers and publishers, investors, distributors and other professionals, to help creative firms build bridges with some of the most difficult actors to establish relationships with in the video game sector. The GIF will constitute the best networking and b2b tool for the industry in Spain, and also serve as a space for training, learning and exchanging knowledge, and as a showcase for new professionals. If you work or would like work in the video game industry, the Games Industry Forum at the Fun & Serious Game Festival is an appointment you cannot afford to miss.
