Laurent Malville is the Creative Director on Starlink: Battle for Atlas, the first new IP created by Ubisoft Toronto. Laurent prioritizes excellence in the player experience. With a dual-educational background in industrial production design and video game design, as well as a love of space exploration, cool vehicles and exotic places, Laurent brings a unique vision for game design to the studio. Laurent supports the team’s collaboration to push the boundaries of gameplay, pacing, accessibility and world consistency, while championing the vision for the game. Working at Ubisoft since 2006, he has applied his player-focused approach to design on multiple award-winning games including Rayman Raving Rabbids 2, Tom Clancy’s EndWar, Assassin’s Creed II, Tom Clancy’s Splinter Cell Conviction and Splinter Cell Blacklist.
